Antarctica
It is possible to get a job in Antarctica. Most jobs in this very cold place are available on scientific bases. There is a high demand for these jobs, because there is only a limited amount. More people apply for a job in Antarctica than you would think. The jobs are usually on a contract basis, and the jobholder is on the base for a period of time, such as six months to two years. Sometimes the weather affects whether or not the jobholder can go home, so it is not a good opportunity with those who have large needy families. |
