Scholarships for College
The best part about scholarships is that they are money that does not need to be paid back. There are two types of scholarships, in house and out house. In house scholarships are scholarships that are given by the university or college. Out house scholarships are scholarships given by an employer or society. The best place to go looking for scholarships is at fastweb.com. A student should never pay money to get scholarship leads. Students as young as juniors in high school should start looking for scholarships as they plan their academic futures. Scholarships may be based upon financial need, academic merit, or some wacky trait, such as being left-handed or heritage. The truth is, there are scholarships out there for anything, so a student should not be discouraged. |
