Ugly Betty
Ugly Betty is a television show about a girl named Betty. Betty has always been a little awkward. As an adult, she still is wearing braces and does not have a trendy hairstyle. What Betty lacks in fashion sense, she makes up for it in her heart. Betty works at a fashion magazine called Mode, where she is an assistant to the editor, Daniel Meade. She was hired so that the editor would not be tempted to fool around with his assistant, and would actually be able to accomplish something. Although Betty feels out of place, she does her best to make things right and be the best assistant she can possibly be. |
